Skin Packaging

Skin packaging or vacuum packaging or skin pack or vacuum pack: It's called skin pack because plastic forms a sort of skin around the product and card.

Skin packaging is very visual packaging, usually good when a variety of items are to packaged and the aim is to minimize upfront costs. A generic board can be used for all the items. Also when the quantity of various items is small. There are exceptions of course, some companies like skin package so much they invest in fully automatic skin packaging equipment, which is ok. So basically it comes down to personal preference or what marketing dictates.

We will do high production runs if the customer likes skin packaging.
